The Union Bank ,BranchPhondaghat Visit Report
The Students of our B.Com.Faculty got a chance to visit a bank on 23rd January 2020. Getting to visit with the idea of monetary value and the different bank note and financial report. The duration of the visit was 50 minutes. Total students present all classes of commerce 37.
The student learnt about working of the ATM machine, the ATM machine room had two close circuit camera and guards. In main office there were four counters-cash counter, passbook counter, enquiry counter and deposit counter. The manager of the bank had a separate cabin with the access to view each activity of the bank through the camera and the LED installed in his camera.
The manager explains various plan and policies and loan information in front of student and he also explain education loan, business loan process. Also other employee explains health insurance policy and their benefits. The most important for student guide for bank examination information. The visit successful organised by Assit. Prof.Dr.Dafale B. Y., Assit. Prof.Sarika Rane,Assit. Prof. Radhika Sawant,Assit. Prof. Rupali Rane.

The Arts and Commerce College, Phondaghat student attend the two days, farmers fair also known as ‘KurushiVibhava’ at Vibhavavadi. The main objective of visiting farmers fair was to create awareness about agree products and have face to face integration with the visitors of Kisan fair which normally had a big gathering of people from different disciplines coming to attend the exabition different parts of Sindudurga districts.
The visitors include mainly the agricultural scientist, senior research fellows, executives of various private seeds and pesticide companies, employees of state agricultural department, progressive farmers and student with the believe that the only way of receiving information is spreading and sharing knowledge.
The visitors at farmers fair came from various specializations Rice, Sugarcane, Mango, cashew net farmers and various stalls on hybrid seeds, fertilizers, Tractor, student made models. The farmers fair emphasized on the need of increasing agriculture productivity.
Dated on 11th March, 2022 Department of Commerce organised lecture on “Financial Literacy and Union Budget” where Prof. Yuvraj Mahalinge is a resource person.
